Opened in February of 2020, On Second Thought Laser Services is an aesthetic laser clinic located in Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland.  We offer many light based treatments including hair removal, acne treatments, and thread vein removal with a specific emphasis on laser tattoo removal and laser fungal nail treatments.  We also offer cryotherapy for wart and skin tag removal.

On Second Thought Laser Services is a sole - trader, a one man band run by David Raphael.  Mr. Raphael has been in the aesthetic laser field since 2011.  He attended Rocky Mountain Laser College in Denver, Colorado, USA for his initial training and was later hired by Body Beautiful Laser Medi-Spa in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.  After seven years and becoming their lead tattoo removal specialist, he moved to Northern Ireland.

We help people correct mistakes that they have made to their bodies or correct/improve things that they do not like about themselves.  It is a lot more than pointing a laser at a person and going PEW PEW PEW!  Practitioners must have a sound understanding of physics, biology, physiology, and how they all interact.  We must perform a full medical consultation with a prospective client and find out how it is that they want us to help them.  The majority of our treatments will take multiple sessions to get the desired results.  You must be able to build relationships with your clients.  Their body and health can be in your hands!
