About the role

This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to take their first step in a Maintenance / Engineering career within a Manufacturing and Warehousing facilities. 

The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, highly motivated, and enthusiastic. You will gain on the job training with our in-house training facilities and work alongside experienced Engineers and develop skills within:

  • Mechanical and electrical applications and solutions
  • Planned preventative maintenance
  • Manufacturing operations
  • Engineering Assembly Methods and Techniques
  • Robotics
  • Process Control Systems 
  • Food and Feed Safety
  • Health and Safety

What are we looking for

  • A minimum of 4 GCSE's at Grade C or above including Maths and one other STEM subject
  • Computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office packages e.g. Excel
  • Organised and methodical
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to attend a day release college course from September 2025
  • Ability to work as a strong team player.
  • Positive and professional attitude with willingness to learn new roles.
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Willing to work production shift working hours to shadow Shift Engineers as part of Apprentice training and development
