About the role

**Please note that this role is based at Mossley Mill, Newtownabbey**


The business development & investment team are a part of the Economic Development department of the Council,  the work includes the following:

- projects to enhance and improve the borough for both the residents and the businesses within

- capital projects including new workspace in Glengormley

- business support services to local businesses including grants, mentoring

- Labour Market Partnership dealing with jobs and employability


The work to be undertaken by the selected pupil will include; 

- involvement in project work including capital projects, business support, labour market partnership

- potential for visits to project sites

- helping to arrange events and workshops

- assisting with general office duties
