About the role

The starting annual base salary will be commensurate with the successful applicant's age, experience and apprenticeship level.

The successful applicant will assist and be mentored by our Concrete Manager. Duties will include:

  • Assisting with the maintenance of our asphalt plant at Titanic Concrete Site & other production locations as required

  • Ensuring that asphalt products are manufactured effectively, efficiently, safely, on-time, and in a cost-effective manner

  • Providing plant repair, maintenance and servicing skills including fault identification, analysis to facilitate repairs, improvements, inspections, adjustments, testing and refurbishments to agreed standards

  • Ensure all machines are working, safe and fit for purpose

  • Installation and movement of new machines and equipment

  • Assist with new equipment introduction and set up

  • Adherence to all Company Health and Safety standards and actively promote safe working practices on the use of machines and equipment

  • Assist in the collation of KPI data for report preparation purposes

  • Assist with any other reasonable duties as required by the Asphalt Plant Manager

  • Complete all necessary documentation that supports the role
