About the role

This Level 2 Sales Apprenticeship provides an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced sales environment while achieving a nationally recognised qualification. The apprentice will support the sales team, developing key skills in customer engagement, sales techniques, and business awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of the company, its products and overall business operations.

  • Assist in generating and qualifying sales leads.

  • Develop an understanding of sales techniques and customer service best practices.

  • Communicate with potential and existing customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.

  • Learn how to manage time effectively in a sales environment.

  • Input and access sales or marketing data using company systems.

  • Gain knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to sales.

  • Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.

  • Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives, supporting the team with research and competitor analysis.

  • Develop personal and professional skills.

What are we looking for

Essential:

  • Meet the eligibility for / enrolled in a Level 2 Sales Apprenticeship.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a positive attitude.

  • Good organisational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.

  • Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in customer service or sales (including part-time or voluntary work).

  • Confidence in speaking to customers over the phone and in person.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving.
