Alongside this role you will be completing the course Sales > Level 2
This Level 2 Sales Apprenticeship provides an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced sales environment while achieving a nationally recognised qualification. The apprentice will support the sales team, developing key skills in customer engagement, sales techniques, and business awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a strong understanding of the company, its products and overall business operations.
Assist in generating and qualifying sales leads.
Develop an understanding of sales techniques and customer service best practices.
Communicate with potential and existing customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Learn how to manage time effectively in a sales environment.
Input and access sales or marketing data using company systems.
Gain knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to sales.
Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets.
Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives, supporting the team with research and competitor analysis.
Develop personal and professional skills.
Essential:
Meet the eligibility for / enrolled in a Level 2 Sales Apprenticeship.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic and willing to learn with a positive attitude.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required.
Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable:
Previous experience in customer service or sales (including part-time or voluntary work).
Confidence in speaking to customers over the phone and in person.
A proactive approach to problem-solving.
