Hypership Ltd

Hypership Ltd

Hypership is an AI Native software consultancy in Belfast. We work inside our clients' teams to deliver software that runs in production, supporting businesses across the UK and globally.

AI tooling is part of how we work end to end, from discovery to delivery. For someone joining the team, that means hands-on exposure to how software is being built now, alongside founders who've spent years in the industry.

This is a place to learn the craft properly and pick up real responsibility early on. If you're curious about how things work under the hood, you'll get further here, faster.

About us

Hypership was founded in January 2026 to build software the way we think it should be built. We work with businesses that need real implementation, not just advice, and we deliver inside their teams rather than from the outside.

Our belief is that software engineering starts with foundational expertise. AI fluency amplifies ability once the fundamentals are in place. That belief shapes how we hire and how we train the people who join us.

We're a new class of software consultancy and we're building the culture from the start to put craft and curiosity at the centre.

Our work

We're an AI Native software consultancy that embeds inside our clients' teams to deliver production-grade software in weeks, not quarters. We work across a range of sectors, from field operations to live theatre, on problems where the deadline matters and the wrong build is more expensive than no build at all.

Our work spans full stack, data and agentic AI engineering. The foundations are typically node-based full stack web applications with backend-as-a-service approaches, scaling into AWS (Bedrock, Kinesis, Athena, DynamoDB) or the Microsoft stack as projects grow. Tooling supports the work, never the other way round.

Apprentices joining the team will work alongside us on live client engagements from early on. The code is real and the responsibility is yours. The work is varied enough to keep you learning, and the team is small enough that you'll see the impact of what you ship.

School engagement opportunities

We're a young company just starting to engage with early talent. We're open to schools getting in touch through Software For All for mock interviews or career days, especially where students want an honest conversation about what software engineering looks like in an AI Native world.

“AI has changed how software gets built. The fundamentals haven't moved though, curiosity and a desire to know how things work. Young people and career changers are the lifeblood, and good mentors leading great newcomers is the next superpower.”
