About the opportunity:

Jacobs is creating an enviable reputation in Ireland's water and infrastructure consultancy sector as a result of a portfolio of high profile projects with Irish Water, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, the National Transport Authority, Local Authorities and as part of design and build partnerships with Contractors, which is why we are looking for an Apprentice Civil Engineer to join our already successful team.

Water is a natural asset that we need to manage sensitively.  Climate change is influencing the availability and quality of this natural asset and much of the work that we undertake for our Clients is finding innovative solutions to balance the human / business need, with the long-term environmental impact.   

You will join a respected and ambitious company with excellent agile career prospects both locally and internationally. You will work as part of a diverse and highly skilled team of Water and Environmental engineers, providing support and advice to a wide range of clients. There will be opportunities to experience different roles within the Water and Environment team aimed at developing your career.

The role will provide you every opportunity to complete your training towards membership of a professional institution.
