About the role

Due to the continued success and growth of our Asset Management division we currently have an opportunity for a Joiner Apprentice to join the Project Team. The candidate will work as part of the Minor Works Team. Assisting with various jobs, working as part of a joinery team and providing excellent services to our high-profile customers.

What are we looking for

Key Tasks:

The following reflect the main tasks associated with the position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive, help in all aspects of below

  • Assisting with work on minor works projects carrying out general joinery duties such as, doors and ironmongery, flooring, metal and timber stud partitions, suspended ceilings and other 1st and 2nd fix work

  • Use and update the company Mobile Management Information Systems for all work.

  • Learn to be proactive in managing and undertaking work and be client focussed in the delivery of the work.

  • Representing the company in a competent and professional manner.

  • Assist with delivering projects in an efficient and effective manner.

  • High standard of housekeeping, material handling and safety at all times.

  • Other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Supervisor

 

Job Measurement:

 

  • Completion of tasks on time and to the required standards

  • Client/Customer satisfaction for all tasks

 

What you’ll bring:

 

As a Joiner Apprentice your main skills and experience will include:

 

Essential Criteria

  • Willingness to learn your trade

  • Punctuality is a must

  • Ability to work with others

  • Working as part of a minor works team within operational buildings.

  • Possess excellent knowledge of safe and effective working

  • Keeping sites/vans tidy

 

Desirable Criteria

  • Working alongside achieving a Joinery Apprenticeship in Technical College
