Role Purpose:
Our Higher-Level Apprenticeship (HLA) in Construction Engineering Project Management offers real on‑the‑job experience while developing the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career with Henry Brothers. You will work as part of a leading construction contractor, supporting the delivery of high‑quality building and infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland and beyond. This opportunity is ideal for anyone with a passion for engineering who is keen to develop a long-term career in the construction industry.
Main Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of construction engineering projects across live sites.
Assist Project and Site Managers with planning, coordination and reporting.
Review and interpret drawings, specifications and technical information.
Help coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams.
Promote high standards of health, safety and quality on site.
Support inspections, snagging and handover activities.
Complete all academic and workplace requirements of the Higher‑Level Apprenticeship.
Essential Criteria:
Relevant A Levels or equivalent qualifications
GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
A strong interest in construction, engineering and project management.
Willingness and ability to combine full‑time work with academic study as part of a Higher‑Level Apprenticeship.
Basic understanding of, or interest in, construction site environments.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders.
Strong organisation, time‑management and problem‑solving skills.
A professional attitude with a willingness to learn, develop and take responsibility.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
