Raptor photonics is a company driven to provide world class cameras to the scientific and surveillance markets. We are looking for an Apprentice Electronic Technician who can work within a team of skilled engineering personnel in order to give maximum production output and service support to the business. This role will allow the selected candidate to develop key hands-on knowledge in electronics in a fast paced company while studying their HND or Foundation Degree.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Apprentice Electronic Technician will:
Be responsible for the assembly, testing and packaging of electronic products for deployment
Complete production line schedules, including planned production and support maintenance
Fault find down to component level
Work closely with R&D to bring new products into production.
Ensure timely completion of build and test records within the computer-based production system
