What are we looking for

We are looking for students with:

  • Curiosity & Problem-Solving Skills – Keen to understanding how things work and solve technical challenges.
  • Hands-on Practical Skills – Interest in working with tools, machinery, or technology.
  • Numeracy & Analytical Thinking – Comfortable with numbers, measurements, and logical reasoning.
  • Teamwork & Communication – Willingness to collaborate and explain ideas clearly.
  • Adaptability & Resilience – Able to learn from mistakes and persist in problem-solving. 
  • Basic STEM Knowledge – Strong interest in science, technology, engineering, or maths (STEM) subjects.
  • Drive for Innovation – Passion for designing and improving products, systems, or processes.


It helps (but is not required) to have the following:

  • Familiarity with Engineering Tools & Software – Exposure to CAD software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks), coding, or robotics is a plus.
  • Awareness of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies – Interest in 3D printing, automation, AI in manufacturing, or renewable materials.
  • Interest in Industry 4.0 & Future Technologies – Awareness of how AI, automation, and smart factories are changing manufacturing.
