About the role

The Export & Member Service Assistant will be trained by the NI Chamber team and be accredited by British Chambers of Commerce to process and certify export documentation for NI Chamber clients. There will be on the job training by our technical experts and an assessment when competency has been obtained in the first year. As a designated authority for the issue of certified Export Documents the NI Chamber processes over 7,000 documents per year for over 200 companies sending goods to 130 countries.

The role will include providing essential administrative support to the NI Chamber Council Sub-Committees. The NI Chamber Council Sub-Committees are currently based on 3 key areas:  The Workforce, Competitiveness, and Energy and Climate Change, the postholder will provide administrative support to each Committee Chair.

The postholder will gain experience working closely with the NI Chamber team across departments including Finance, Events and Administration throughout the apprenticeship.
